11 Bethlehem, PA Engagement Photo Locations
Bethlehem, Pennsylvania is such a cool city with a whole lot going for it. As the "Christmas City" - it has a whole lot of charm, maybe double the amount during the winter months when the downtown area is decked out in lights and other decorations. There are so many beautiful locations around the area that make for excellent engagement photo session backdrops - we just had to share.

Main Street Bethlehem
Where's it located? Main Street, Bethlehem
We can't have a list of Bethlehem engagement photo session locations without starting in the heart of it all. Main Street Bethlehem is filled with so much character. We can seriously fill an entire sessions worth of photos just in this area due to the diversity of backdrops thanks to the brick sidewalks and cute storefronts, as well as other spots within a short walking distance. Really a perfect place for getting those small town vibes. Like we mentioned in our intro, during the Christmas season, this street really illuminates with lights too, making it extra special during the winter!

Bethlehem Public Library
Where's it located? 11 W Church St, Bethlehem, PA 18018
The Bethlehem Public Library itself is not all that exciting, however the little plaza outside offers amazing views of South Bethlehem. This makes it a great spot to catch the sunset. Also during the holiday season, they put up a massive Christmas tree, that's always a welcome addition for wintery engagement shoots!

Steel Stacks
Where's it located? 101 Founders Way, Bethlehem, PA 18015
Steel Stacks is the once home of Bethlehem Steel that has since been converted into a public outdoor space and arts district in the city. Sessions here are always amazing with the industrial blast furnaces as a backdrop. At this point, the Stacks are pretty much iconic with the city of Bethlehem, and has even has been used as a movie location for films like Transformers.

Lehigh University Campus
Where's it located? 27 Memorial Dr W, Bethlehem, PA 18015
Lehigh University is a beautiful ivy league college campus right in Southside Bethlehem that has a lot of great spots for engagement photos. We really love the Gothic style architecture of all the buildings. There's so much to love here, though!

The Sun Inn Alleyway
Where's it located? 564 Main St, Bethlehem, PA 18018
Okay, so this spot is right off of Main Street - but we wanted to include it because we consider it something special and if you blink, you'll miss it (unless you know it's there already!). The Sun Inn is a charming restaurant in the city (we actually photographed a wedding there too), but the alleyway that runs by the side of it and into a small public courtyard and some shops is seriously cute with the brick lined walkway. There are also a couple of hidden gems nearby, too.

Moravian Church Courtyard
Where's it located? 73 W Church St, Bethlehem, PA 18018
The Central Moravian Church features some great greenspaces and blooming flowers during the Spring/Summer months. There's also some hidden gems like the little bench spot with ivy surrounding it you can see in the picture above. This is one of those spots thats so great as it's right off Main Street, so you can get a little dose of greenery in your otherwise city-vibed adventure.

Archibald Johnson estate
Where's it located? 3811 Christian Spring Rd, Bethlehem, PA 18020
The Archibald Johnson Estate is a privately owned property that's been opened to the public (it even has nice walking paths throughout) right outside of the main city. We love it for engagement sessions in Bethlehem that are looking for a little more greenery, and much more peace and quiet vs. the bustling city vibes. There is also some unique architecture on the property including this old bridge that feels plucked out of a gothic film or something!

Lehigh University Overlook
Where's it located? 27 Memorial Dr W, Bethlehem, PA 18015
At the top of the Lehigh Valley University campus is a little overlook where you can see a good portion of the city in the background. This is a sweet little spot to stop off for photos with a nice view.

Sand Island Park
Where's it located? 56 River St, Bethlehem, PA 18018
Sand Island Park is the cities main green space. It's a fairly simple location, but offers a great contrast with the city vibes if you are looking to do two locations for your photo shoot. And it's conveniently just a few minutes drive away from Main Street.

Historic Colonial Quarter
Where's it located? 459 Old York Rd, Bethlehem, PA 18018
The Historic Colonial Quarter is another location within walking distance from Main Street - you can actually see the area if you're standing by the Moravian Blacksmith Shop. It features some cool old buildings that have a certain charm for photos.
