Chelsea + Matt | Whitewoods Wedding Photography | Wapwallopen, PA

Chelsea & Matt had an awesome wedding shared with family & friends at Whitewoods – a modern rustic wedding venue tucked away in Northeastern Pennsylvania.

We had first met these two for their engagement photos at Valley Forge National Park. Getting to know them (+ their pups) was a real treat, and made arriving to document their wedding so easy. We love getting to have this extra bit of familiarity with each other because it really helps our couples feel more comfortable on the day of their wedding, like a friend is showing up to take pictures for them!

Their days started off in two separate locations. Matt got ready with his guys at a parent’s house, while Chelsea rented a really sweet AirBNB (it was seriously amazing!). Of course, our paths crossed when we all arrived at Whitewoods for the ceremony & reception to follow.

For our 2019 weddings, we think this one takes the cake for most people in the bridal party with a whopping 19 people. We love how their shots turned out – with the mix of blue suits on the guys and burgundy dresses on the ladies (+ 1 burgundy suit for the bro-maid!).

As wedding photographers, the one place we really loved the most on the property was tucked away in the woods. We noticed their were little string lights hanging from the trees, and found the “on” switch. These mixed with this natural couple made for some really stunning bride & groom portraits.
