Folino Estate is a beautiful place to hold a wedding that will immediately conjure up thoughts of the Italian country side – right here in Pennsylvania!
Folino features a vineyard, winery, and restaurant – so it’s easy enough to drop in to get an idea of what this location could have in store for your wedding day. They have special event areas that can suit a large number of guests and provide privacy for the celebration, and it’s simple enough to make arrangements to tour the entire venue.
As wedding photographers, we love Folino Estate because it offers great views and the wedding day runs smoothly (like clockwork) thanks to well prepared staff. These are just two things potential bride & groom’s will like about the place – let’s talk about it some more!
Why It’s Great for Weddings
Folino Estate features two main private event spaces that can seat up 220 guests together (these spaces actually can open up and connect together as we have seen!). The Chianti Room can hold up to 120 guests on it’s own – and is a beautiful fixture with vintage wine barrels, an open air feeling, and natural light pouring in through the windows. The Pinot Grigio Room is a smaller space that can also be used for indoor wedding ceremonies in the event of rain.
One of the big lures of weddings at Folino is the gorgeous outdoor gazebo set with the vineyard in the background with a little waterfall adding the perfect accent. Another, maybe underappreciated, space is the long walkway leading from the entrance to the Chianti Room – we have utilized this beautifully for First Looks and portraits in the past (when you see it – you’ll love it!).
Ultimately – if you are attracted to the look and atmosphere of Folino Estate, it may just be the right wedding venue for you. Having the majority of your wedding day taking place on site – from finishing touches in the bridal suite to the ceremony to the reception – makes transitioning through the day seamless and memorable. Folino also provides menu options for dinner (no external catering services are allowed), and it was one of the best wedding day meals we got to enjoy ourselves as well.
