Camp Mack may just be one of our favorite rustic wedding venues. It is a simple, “back to the basics” type of location that is actually an active Boy Scout Reservation run by the Pennsylvania Dutch Council – and it will immediately appeal to couples wanting to get married in the woods.
Why It’s Great for Weddings
There is not a whole lot to say about Camp Mack, and it’s the simplicity that we really love. Walking along the many trails and natural spaces makes for a great ambiance and backdrop for wedding pictures. The ceremony site (the “Camp Chapel”) can seat up to 150 guests and features a large wooden A-frame and stage that is incredibly beautiful – we fall in love with it again and again when we revisit photos taken there.
While the wedding we documented there only utilized the space for the ceremony & portraits to follow, entire wedding days can be held here as well with rentals of the Camp Dining Pavilion being available for receptions.
