From the first email we received from Ashley exuding excitement to be tying the knot with her partner Allison, we were so, so excited to document this beautiful day.

These two decided to get married in their backyard, stylizing the ceremony space in a simple but truly beautiful way. As was so apparent when they exchanged their vows together, the day was at it’s core about their love for each other and wanting a way to immortalize it.

Once vows were exchanged, goodbye’s said to parents + friends/family joining via Zoom, we spent a few hours driving around Scranton to hit some hidden gems with them. Some were beautiful backdrops, like the Nay Aug Park Treehouse, while others downtown resonated on a more personal level as places they would spend time together regularly. We love the familiarity and personal meaning that resonated with Ashley and Allison’s wedding day being held right around the home they’ve made together in Scranton!
