Rachel and Sean’s wedding day at Promise Ridge was such a beautiful mix of emotion, scenery, and meaning. They traveled all the way from Texas to celebrate with their closest family and friends here in the Poconos – right back in the area where they’re originally from.
Their day started at a stunning Airbnb nearby, full of charm and character (and honestly, the kind of place you’d love to just relax at for a weekend). We photographed their getting-ready moments, a sweet first look and private vows they chose to exchange with each other, and plenty of portraits before heading to Promise Ridge for their intimate ceremony. The setting was perfect, surrounded by lush mountain views and colorful fall foliage.
The ceremony itself was specially curated by Alisa and the couple, and included a few meaningful Filipino traditions, adding such a special personal touch. We photograph at Promise Ridge often, and it’s always amazing how every couple brings something different to the space thanks to their unique love stories – Rachel and Sean’s day was no exception.
