Photographing Laura and RJ is always something we look forward to. Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of documenting so many milestones for them – from their engagement and wedding to multiple family sessions and celebrations along the way. This maternity session felt especially meaningful as they prepare to welcome their second child, and even more so because their first little one joined in for the photos.
Being able to photograph this chapter felt like a full – circle moment for us. We captured maternity photos before their first child was born, so seeing her now – laughing, exploring, and interacting with her parents – made this session incredibly special. It’s such a gift to watch families grow and to continue telling their story through the years.
We photographed this session on their family’s farm in New Jersey, which gave the images a deeply personal and sentimental feel. The open fields, familiar surroundings, and perfect weather created a relaxed, natural setting that felt completely true to who they are. Sessions like this are a reminder of why we love long – term storytelling – these moments become part of something much bigger than a single day.
