In 2020, the journey to a wedding day for so many couples has been faced with many hardships and challenges. Rising coronavirus restrictions impacted Mary + Josh’s original wedding plans at a more traditional venue. With a date change and shift to a friend’s backyard, they had a wedding day that turned out incredibly beautifully with family and close friends in attendance.
There were so many beautiful moments during this wedding.
A first look (we stopped off at Louise Moore Park for this) where these two shared notes with each other, before seeing each other for the first time. Heartfelt vows during their ceremony in front of a gorgeous custom made arbor. And how could we forget – a special announcement during the reception of a child on the way (we were fighting back tears behind our cameras!).
While we look forward to getting back to the big weddings we’ve seen over the years, the more intimate ones we’ve been capturing this year, like Mary & Josh’s, are a great testament to how couples are adapting their wedding plans and still having incredible and memorable days.
