We have been fortunate to have an incredibly memorable wedding season this year. This Stone House at Stirling Ridge wedding (with the ceremony/reception being held in the Lodge space) for Mike and Kelly was certainly one of those that stand out as an incredible testament to why we continue to love photographing weddings.
The energy of this wedding day was nothing short of phenomenal. Often, we show up to weddings not fully sure of what to expect – but on this day, it was just bubbling excitement from everyone in attendance – the bride, the groom, their friends and family, even the other wedding vendors we connected with. They say “your vibe attracts your tribe”, and by the end of the night we felt like we were in the presence of family instead of “just another wedding gig.”
That vibe resonated throughout the entire day – from getting ready at a hotel closeby in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey to an incredibly gorgeous first look at The Stone House at Stirling Ridge…and beyond. As a wedding day, you couldn’t ask for better with an unseasonably warm November day, gorgeous light and backdrops, a dusk-lit ceremony with a heartfelt exchange of vows, to a reception that was truly off the walls with excitement and dancing until the very end.
It’s a rush just thinking back on it 🙂
