Remember when we photographed the SAGE Bridal Experience this past Spring in Upstate NY? Well we were lucky enough to briefly meet Lindsay and Sean, two fellow vendors who are the super awesome duo of 89 Doughnuts, and two weeks after the event they got engaged!! Now we are photographing their wedding day! Funny how things work out like that, and we are so happy that they do.

Now lets fast forward to their engagement session. Lindsay and Sean brought us to one of their favorite places up in the mountains of New York and I have to say, it is quite easily one of our favorites now too. We had the perfect fall (…not to mention insanely windy – but to our advantage!) day during golden hour just hiking around the park and lake. We got to catch some beautiful fall colors and the breath taking views of the Shawangunk Mountain ridge in New York’s Catskill Mountains. Lindsay and Sean were amazing for braving the piercingly brutal wind we had that day, but it made for the most perfect windswept photos. Needless to say Minnewaska State Park is getting added to our list of great locations for engagement photos and we can’t wait to get back up and adventure through that area again! Now the countdown begins until we get to see these two again for their wedding next September!
