Jenn & Don traveled all the way down to our neck of the woods from New York to check out Columcille Megalith Park – a really unique, Celtic influenced, park that is great for serene hikes and, yes, engagement photos!

Columcille is just one of many locations we’ve collected in our engagement session location ideas list that we send over to all of our clients who book a session or wedding with us!

These two had a really fun dynamic. While Jenn was a little more on the quiet side, Don was constantly cracking jokes as we went through our shoot. There are so many great shots of him getting her to laugh – we can easily imagine this is a pretty constant thing at home!

At Columcille Megalith Park, there are a lot of great places to stop for photos. There is the Fairy Ring and the Labyrinth – as well as an assortment of megaliths (really big rocks!) throughout the park. It’s the megaliths that really make this little Pennsylvania park feel like it was plucked right out of ancient England’s Stonehenge.

Of course, the natural beauty of the walking trails is also great on its own, and visiting at this time of year was just perfect with the vibrant greenery.

Engagement sessions at Columcille are always super laid back as we walk through the park together.

Timing the sun light just right allowed us to take some of our favorite warm Golden Hour photos by the little pond tucked away on the property right after these two changed from more casual clothes into something a little more dressy.
