Getting to photograph Devon and Alex again for their maternity session at Kirkwood Preserve in Newtown Square, PA felt like catching up with old friends. We first photographed their engagement session at Nockamixon State Park, followed by their wedding at the John James Audubon Center last year, so being invited back to document this next chapter in their lives was incredibly special!
Taking photos of these two has always felt effortless since the first time we met. They have such natural chemistry together, and after getting to know them over the years, our sessions tend to be as much about catching up and laughing together as they are about making photos. Kirkwood Preserve gave us a beautiful, relaxed backdrop for this session, with its open natural landscape and grassy fields, perfectly complementing the laid-back feeling we wanted for their portraits.
