Getting to photograph Laura and RJ again – this time welcoming their second child – felt incredibly special. We’ve been alongside them for so many milestones over the years, from their engagement and wedding to maternity sessions and family photos, and this newborn session was another meaningful chapter in their story.
We documented these newborn photos in their New Jersey home, which made everything feel calm, intimate, and true to real life. In – home sessions are always some of our favorites – there’s no pressure, no rushing, just quiet moments, soft light, and plenty of time for snuggles. Their older child joined in as well, adding so much sweetness and personality to the session. Watching her interact with her new sibling was a reminder of how quickly families grow and change.
This session felt less about perfection and more about connection – capturing the early days at home as a family of four. Being invited into moments like this, especially with families we’ve worked with for so long, is something we never take for granted.
