Alexis & Ben woke up early to meet us at Chickies Rock County Park for the beginning of their sunrise engagement session…with pups in tow…We wanted to take full advantage of the beautiful morning light while mixing their first more formal clothing choices because the contrast between this look and nature is always stunning!

We then shifted gears and moved the engagement shoot party over to Historic Ashland in Lancaster, PA – which will be their wedding venue next December. The venue allows engagement photos to be taken on the gorgeous property for couple’s getting married there, and it felt like a great choice for these two because we would get to see the venue together in advance, take advantage of the Christmas decor inside (perfect for holiday cards going out this year!), and still had plenty of great photos spots between the architecture and natural environment around the property.

We can’t wait to see these two for their wedding next year!!
