We first met Daniella & Ben at their beach engagement session in Watch Hill, Rhode Island back in June. It’s been quite the adventure since then as we’ve been jam packed documenting so many weddings, but we were incredibly excited to see these two again to capture their wedding at The Inn at Mill Race Pond in Hope, New Jersey – an idealic little off-the-beaten path wedding venue!

In this blog post, you’ll see photos all the way from the bride & groom prep in the morning to closing out the night with an after party at the Fireside Tavern (a little bar restaurant on the property).

There were so many heart warming and fun moments throughout the course of the day.

Ben received adoption papers, the ceremony officiant fake-out where everyone was shocked to see a great friend switch places with a stand in to officiate the wedding. And how could we forget – the hilarious bridal party. Incorporating Ben’s love of baseball in everything from wedding details, bridesmaids getting ready outfits, to bridal party photos at a baseball field across the street. Yes, Jes even got hit by a stray baseball, but we’ll let it slide. 🙂

Our favorite part had to be the bride & groom portraits at sunset. We found a little hidden spot on the property with an overgrown tennis court. It had a very post apocalyptic vibe – but between the perfect Golden Light, the radiant bride & groom, and our camera work – we were able to make some real magic!
