Before we dive into this post, we have to admit – we have a soft spot for farms, farm animals and the like. It’s kind of our dream to one day own a farmhouse with a barn, acres of land and have all the farm animals. So when we met Joanna + Eric at their humble homestead, we felt right at home as we got to walk around their beautiful farm hearing all the stories (Eric is a superb storyteller by the way) and their future plans for the Townehill Homestead. As we spent some time with them at the farm capturing SO much sweetness, we got to meet all of their precious animals (all of which make an appearance below!). Moose their sweet rescue dog, Badonkadonk the miniature donkey (I mean, I can’t even.), Ham the goat, along with their cute cat who likes to patrol the grounds, and all the chickens and turkey. Now that’s a #farmsquad if I ever heard one!
So we spent some time capturing all the sweetness at their farm, then hopped in their truck and made a short drive over to Ricketts Glen State Park for some waterfalls and adventure before the sun went down! Perfect way to spend a Friday night during the fall season in our books! We can’t wait to see these guys again for their wedding day at the Rodale Institute farm in August!!
