Gabby and Josh, G & J… Where to begin with these two! The sweetest, most adventurous and kindhearted individuals that we are lucky to have met, photographed such an exciting time in their lives together, and are now even luckier to have walked away as friends that we can’t wait to see again for our Settler’s of Catan game night 😉
We photographed their engagement session just a few weeks before their wedding day at Camp Mack & Stoudts Brewing Co. in September (which will be on the blog soon!), and it was the best. Gabby told us that her and Josh grew up together in the little town of Dillsburg, just outside of Harrisburg. It’s where they went to high school together, had their first date at the local Drive-In theater, known as Haar’s, and where they are storing their labor of love, a school bus they are converting into a tiny home on wheels! With all of that said, we wanted their engagement session to be a nostalgic night for them. Down to earth and true to exactly who they are as a couple. So we did just that!
Our first stop was Haar’s Drive-In where they had their first date, accompanied by their sweet pup named Judah – who seriously stole the show for a bit there 😉 . Did we mention that Judah was a part of Josh’s proposal to Gabby!? He was a tiny little puppy then, now a year and a half old and still the cutest thing on earth! After all the super sweet and nostalgic vibes from the Drive-In, we hopped over to where they were storing their school bus project. Definitely the coolest work in progress to see these two dreaming up together. Later then we drove to a little park near them to finish up the night, and where Gabby wanted to surprise Josh with having her brother drive down Josh’s motorcycle for some photo fun! Needless to say, he was very surprised 🙂
It was the perfect night roaming around with these two in the town where it all started for them. Take a look and see for yourselves, and stay tuned for their perfect whimsical wedding day!
