(So we’ve had the awesome experience of seeing this venue from both a photographer and attendee’s point of view!).

With so many wedding venues in the Lehigh Valley (and surrounding regions like Philadelphia) turning into “wedding mills” with many events going on at once, The Farm Bakery has remained a great choice for couples who are also wanting the privacy of having the space all to themselves!

Getting Ready Suites

Both the bridal and groom suites are thoughtfully designed for comfort and convenience. Having these available on site can make your wedding day a lot easier from a logistics perspective!

The bridal suite in particular is especially beautiful – offering ample space for getting ready with your bridal party, featuring natural light and cozy furnishings. As photographers, this place is a dream!

The groom suite is also great – having received some great updates over the years including improved lighting, furnishings and amenities. While the space is a little smaller, it still fits a group of guys well and also has a pool table which makes it such a great hang out space before the ceremony begins!

Ceremony Spaces

The Farm features a picturesque outdoor ceremony space surrounded by the greenery of the farm. The handcrafted wooden arbor provides a stunning focal point for exchanging vows, while the natural landscape ensures breathtaking photo opportunities.

In the event of bad weather (or cold weather), you can also opt to have your ceremony inside in their Harvest Barn, a recent addition they added to this venue back in 2020. It’s still amazing for us to see the changes and growth that has happened at this venue over the years!

Cocktail Hour

After your ceremony, cocktail hour can be hosted right nearby in an outdoor eating and mingling area with a bar set up. Guests can access food and drinks here, and also have range to the property where lawn games will typically be set up.

This is one of our favorite parts of wedding days at The Farm Bakery especially when we get to see guests having fun playing cornhole and other games together. You can also go for tractor rides (especially loved by the kids!), which is a fun little addition to know about here.

In the event of rain, cocktail hour can be shifted upstairs into the Seed Barn.

Reception Hall

The rustic barn reception hall (The Seed Barn) combines vintage charm with modern amenities. With vaulted ceilings, string lights, and enough space for dining, dancing, and celebrating, this space transforms beautifully to suit your wedding theme.

The reception space also opens up into an outdoor area allowing your guests to easily go in and out as they please to hang out and enjoy. We’ve been to countless weddings, particularly from spring to fall, where we’d have people on the dance floor one minute then taking a break outside enjoying the warm air. Really an awesome layout for a great reception!

Our Experience as Photographers at The Farm Bakery and Events

As wedding photographers, we’ve had the pleasure of capturing many weddings at The Farm Bakery and Events over the years. It remains one of our favorite venues in the Lehigh Valley simply because how each wedding is run so flawlessly, and we constantly see our shared couples having an amazing time throughout their weddings.

And of course…it also helps that this place is so photogenic everywhere you go! 🙂

From the getting ready suites to the golden hour light across the open fields for portraits and a reception space that gets people on the floor and dancing – it’s really an awesome time, every time.

The team at The Farm is also incredibly supportive and collaborative, ensuring smooth logistics and a stress-free experience for everyone involved. We regularly work together to ensure good timings for the day and our couples are taken care of!!

One memorable moment was photographing a couple’s first look under the oak tree near the ceremony site—a serene and emotional scene that perfectly reflected the venue’s ambiance.

This venue is incredible and we can’t say enough. From start to finish in booking for our wedding, everything was perfect! Not only was it incredible, but the rental price for what you receive is very fair for the wedding venue market. We’d recommend this venue to any couples looking. Courtney and Sam were particularly awesome and made our day stress free and magical in every way!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this beautiful venue. From the time we set foot on property in 2022 to tour the venue, it instantly felt like home. Everyone who works here is so kind, and they always greet you with a smiling face. Communication is A++++ with this team! I NEVER had any wedding stress related to the venue itself. They get back to you with any questions or concerns within a few days and that’s even pushing it, sometimes it was same day- this was not the case of friends of ours who got married at different venues. Becca, Alyssa, Courtney, and Sam were who we primarily dealt with and they were all fabulous, professional, and pleasant. Sam was our DIY coordinator/wedding day manager and just LOVED that we planned to have our Rottweiler in our wedding from the moment we met her at the dessert tasting and I think that really resonated with me- fellow dog moms unite! When she met him she greeted him with open arms and it was like they were long lost buddies. Sam was at The Farm when my hair and makeup artists arrived and she helped carry their things up the stairs to the suite- they were both blown away and said a venue had NEVER offered to help them like that before. They even declined the help out of courtesy and she said “ No I WANT to help you” and rushed up the stairs with them and their belongings. They felt so welcomed. I am the most meticulous person I know when it comes to decor so I bought all of my own, and met with Sam about specifics. She instantly knew what to do with all of it and it was so perfect. Courtney was our day of coordinator, and recorded our first dance for us on her phone and uploaded it to a google drive for us- as it was the only video we have of it so far while waiting for our videographer to send us it! She must have ran miles on that day to make sure the day went smoothly and it didn’t go unnoticed. She kept running drinks and apps to us during cocktail hour. We appreciated her so much. Our guests raved over the food, we used Julie with 2 Little Piggy’s. Communication with Julie was also outstanding. The drinks were always flowing and guests still cannot get over it. The dessert table provided by The Farm was to die for. We had shooters, apple dumplings, and mini cupcakes in our wedding cake flavor. I had to go back to The Farm the week after our wedding to pick up something we left behind and teared up pulling into the parking lot because I couldn’t believe the day was over and we had to say goodbye to The Farm staff. They truly become like family and there is no venue around that will give you this homey feeling. We will be back for the Christmas market! (The market is straight out of a hallmark movie- must go!). THANK YOU to the entire team at this venue- you made our day so special and we could not have asked for more!
