When Abby & Chris originally planned their wedding, it was going to be at a more traditional venue. As time went on, they went with their hearts and opted to host a backyard wedding at their home. We always love when couples do what they want with their wedding days – whether that’s a 300 person “traditional wedding”, a 2 person elopement in the woods, or something in the middle like this with the closest family & friends in attendance to come together and have a good time!
Being such a low key day, we were able to plan for some great photo opportunities while keeping a comfortable pace through the day for everyone involved. From getting ready at home to portraits at a park nearby (Red Bank Battlefield Park in New Jersey), then returning back for a backyard ceremony and tented reception – it couldn’t have been better.
Of course, special shout out to the pups who make special appearances throughout this photo gallery. As corgi owners ourselves, we also couldn’t help but love Oswald’s cuteness! 🙂
We ended the night with open air dancing, frozen margaritas, night portraits under the floral arch and sparkler photos with these two. A beautiful time through and through!
