Becky + Mike | Bear Creek Mountain Resort | Poconos Wedding Photography

Getting to capture Becky & Mike’s wedding was an amazing experience for us as these two felt like old friends after we had met them way, way back at a Starbucks over some coffee, then again for their engagement photos at Longwood Gardens. These two booked our wedding photography service more than 2 years in advance – it’s incredible to see how much we all have grown in that timeframe!

We documented their full wedding – a total of 14 hours of shooting – from the start of the day (all at Bear Creek Mountain Resort in the Poconos) from the bride & groom prep in the morning to the end of the night with the fun sparkler exit. There was so much that happened in between too – a lot of gift exchanges between the bride, groom, their parents, and their close friends. A ceremony interrupted by a freak rain storm – but the show must go on! A collection of Jewish ceremony traditions like the signing of the Ketubah and breaking of the glass. And of course, a ton of great portraits of these two!

What amazed us the most was just how relaxed these two were even with it being one of the biggest days of their lives. We kind of expected this when we arrived, as we remembered back to how easy they were to talk with and their shared love for shows like Game of Thrones.

The celebration of love will be continuing next year when we meet again for a “Day After” session to capture the next step in their journey together! Can’t wait!!
