Alex & Ryan had a beautiful and FUN wedding day at Historic Shady Lane in Lancaster, PA.

These two were total naturals together, and we were so happy to have them referred to us by another couple (Gabby & Josh – you can see their wedding gallery here).

From the first time we heard from them in their wedding inquiry, we were 100% excited to work together. Historic Shady Lane has been a “bucket list” wedding venue for us – because it has so many great elements that mesh well with our personal aesthetics. From the girls getting prepped in a house with a lot of beautiful natural window light and little interesting pieces of furniture and architecture, to the mix of natural and wooded spots for photos, to the reception being held in a really gorgeous white tent. It all mixed to create the perfect wedding space.

Of course, what people bring to the day helps give the day personality and authenticity!

We hit it off immediately with Alex & Ryan when we met up for their engagement shoot at Wissahickon Park in Philly (you can see those photos here!). Now having mutual friends in common, a passion for travel and exploration – our time together capturing this couple has been really awesome!

We think this wedding collection speaks for itself – from getting ready photos in the morning all the way until the wedding wrapped up with a sparkler sendoff!
