With all the traveling we have been doing lately, it’s always an amazing break to get to document weddings right in our backyard of the Lehigh Valley. Since downtown Allentown has been revitalized over the past few years, it’s become an increasingly popular place to tie the knot – with the Renaissance Hotel being a really incredible location with great views of the city!
For Maddie & Russ, this was a really great and intimate wedding. We met at The Renaissance Hotel as these two got prepped for their big day, then went over to St. Francis of Assisi Church (where Maddie grew up attending!), then returned to the Renaissance to end the day with a bang!
In between, we took a little detour over to the Allentown Rose Gardens for some portraits – what a stunning location. We also took a visit to downtown Allentown’s beautiful “arts walk” to check out some of the modern architecture and murals – those shots are downright stunning!
These two have been the sweetest couple since we first met down in West Chester for their engagement shoot. We hit it off so quickly, and it just gets us incredibly excited to be seeing them again in 2020 for a “Day After” shoot together. The marriage journey doesn’t stop on the wedding day – but it’s a really beautiful spot to slow down, take in, and remember with pictures. Enjoy this gallery!!
