In the days leading up to Maria & Joey’s January wedding, we saw a chance of snow in the forecast…
We immediately started to hope for snow, because it would compliment their winter wedding vibe perfectly in a similar way to their engagement photos last year at Hickory Run State Park (they were amazing!!). Just like we had hoped, when the big day finally came, we were met with a light snow storm that fit the mood just right and made for a beautiful compliment to their pictures – but not so much snow to inconvenience any family & friends traveling in to see them!
Their wedding was held at The Palace at Somerset Park – a lux ballroom venue that was perfect for the large Italian family coming together wedding that they had. Everything from their morning prep to the ceremony and reception were held under one roof – which made for a really easy and stress free layout for the days events.
Maria & Joey’s wedding came together beautifully thanks to a great vision, a little love from Mother Nature, and the support of a great venue staff and wedding vendors. Family played a big role in the day, and we especially loved hearing Maria’s brother add some piano flare to cocktail hour as he played great renditions of songs from Game of Thrones. You know it’s going to be a good wedding when the “Rains of Castamere” starts 🙂
We hope you enjoy checking out these beautiful picturesque shots from their wedding day below!
