During one of our craziest wedding seasons with over 50 weddings photographed, Alex & Anthony’s wedding at Smith Farm Gardens in East Hadaam, Connecticut stands out to us for a number of reasons. One of the big ones was their decision to have toasts at the end of their cocktail hour. It’s so easy to get hyped about every small detail, the gorgeous light, changing fall foliage, the beautiful property…among tons of other things…but the way every guest gathered around to really take in the awesome toasts from the Best Man and MOH, it just resonated so strongly with us. As photographers, having the chance to take a few minutes and explore every little angle and perspective, capturing natural reactions – it leads to being one of those highlight moments.
