When Natalie & Matt first reached out to us, we were immediately intrigued. Their inquiry was so incredibly sweet and detailed their life together as a couple who feel much more in tune with a more low key lifestyle of old country record jams, hopes to be homesteaders, and limited social media use…
They originally reached out with a vision for a quick courthouse elopement. After talking with us some more, we helped educate them about Pennsylvania’s unique self uniting marriage option, and from there over the course of several months they evolved their vision to an incredibly sweet and intimate elopement at a place with more meaning to them, surrounded by the people in their life who mean the most to them. Their wedding day turned out to be incredibly gorgeous, from their self uniting ceremony, to the backdrop of Prompton State Park, and of course the beautiful set up back at a family home for their little reception to cap off the evening.
We’ve come to love weddings of all sizes if they are experiences that resonate with the couples we get to work for. For these two, the extremely simple yet stunningly beautiful solution of an intimate wedding just suited them, and we are so happy to have been a part of it.
