While many wedding stories we document and share on our website feature couple’s taking a more traditional approach to having a wedding, Alexis & Will decided to forgo having a big event in exchange for a small justice of the peace ceremony followed by having us take some wedding portraits for them to remember their big day!

They had a number of a reasons for taking this option – with one of the biggest being Will’s upcoming military deployment. If ever there was a reason to tie the knot quickly, that would be a good one!

We were happy to meet them at Longwood Gardens – one of the most beautiful places in Eastern PA. We’ve shot quite a few engagement sessions there over the years, and revisiting it again for take portraits for these two was a great time.
